You can proceed to book your appointments online, however all new clients booking for chemical services (especially colours) must have a consultation prior to their appointment (this only takes a couple of minutes). This is to ensure that we can accommodate you and make sure that you are seen by the correct staff/student, and avoid clients booking in for services that may be difficult for students. Additionally, prices shown are always from, and clients with long or high-volume hair may be charged for extra products used and/or time taken.
Services by Trainees
Trainees can perform services in the salon when Academy Tutors are confident they are ready, but services are performed under supervision of Stylists/Tutors.
Trainees are gaining real salon experience and improving their service speed, therefore services will often take longer than those by Stylists, please allow sufficient time for your service, because a student feeling under pressure to rush may find it difficult to complete your service. If you have requested a service that is to complicated for a student and you have not had a consultation, we may have to offer you your service with a Stylist, for which the applicable fee will be payable.
Services by Trainees are always subject to availability (they have flexible attendance at the academy) and start from 11am, but cannot start after 4pm (3pm Saturdays).
If no Trainee is available at your chosen/arrival time we will offer services by Stylists, in which case ‘Stylist’ prices apply.
We use Fresha for the easiest online booking experience, for which there are apps available. When booking online we suggest proving your email address (as you will receive an email confirmation at time of booking and prior to the appointment date), if you provide a mobile number you will just receive one text message 24 hours before your appointment. We recommend providing both to ensure you are kept up to date with your appointments.
IMPORTANT – late cancellation and no-show fees apply
Due to the volume of late cancellations and customers failing to attend appointments, we have changed our online booking so that card details are now required, nothing is charged at the time of booking, however the following charges now apply:
10% of the service price if cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment
30% ‘no show’ fee for clients not attending, and not cancelled.
